Well Worth Seeing
We know that many professional caregivers are in that field because they see their role as serving God by serving man. Last week we learned about and read a wonderful book, Are You Really Listening? The book is a memoir written by a nurse, Bernice Simpson, and in it she details her life and the lives of the many dying people she’s cared for at bedside. In Are You Really Listening? Simpson also provides suggestions, resources and advice for managing a patient’s end-of-life journey, including information on healing herbs and plants. It’s an inspiring book filled with love.
